Z-Wave Device Won't Add

If you are trying to 'Add' a Z-Wave device but it does not appear to be adding you can try the following solutions:

  1. Try to use the 'Remove' Z-Wave device via SecureSmart.

    It's possible that the device is added to a different Gateway (or similar product) and will not add to the new Gateway until it is removed first.

  2. Some Z-Wave manufacturers use a two button press method to add or remove from a Gateway.

    On your Z-Wave device you can try to quickly press the power button twice to add/remove the device.
